These Keepsakes guarantee that the next boon you find will be from the god that the Keepsake comes from. Before the beginning of each biome, you can equip a new Keepsake, which is very important for getting any consistency out of Hades. Although each Keepsake has a different effect, there’s a series of them built around the gods you can encounter throughout your run. You can gift most of the characters you meet with nectar, which will unlock their Keepsake. This guide assumes you have all of the Aspects unlocked, at least, and the ones you want to use maxed out.įinally, you’ll want to get familiar with Keepsakes. ![]() You can also upgrade each Aspect with Titan Blood, offering a boost to whatever the Aspect’s concerned with (higher cast damage on Poseidon Blade, for example). For example, the Aspect of Poseidon on the Stygian Blade allows you to dislodge your cast shots by using your special. Each weapon has three additional Aspects, each of which provides a different bonus. When you unlock a weapon in Hades, you’re unlocking that weapon with the Aspect of Zagreus. Note, however, that you’re never guaranteed a duo boon, even if you’ve satisfied the requirements. All of the builds below are centered around a duo boon, so it’s best to get familiar with them. Sea Storm, for example, requires a specific boon from Zeus and Poseidon. Each duo boon has different requirements, but you’ll need at least one boon from each god to even have a chance to see a duo boon later. Duo boons combine the powers of two different gods, and they’re some of the strongest in the game. Further readingīefore diving into the builds, there are a few concepts you should be familiar with. We’ll run over some terms you need to be familiar with before starting, but it’s worth pointing out that this guide assumes you have all Keepsakes and weapon Aspects unlocked. Fitbit Versa 3īelow, we’ve outlined five of the best builds in Hades so you know what boons to pick up on your run. I think you realyl have to choose whether you want to charge hard in classical with your toxotes and cyclops to take down the buildings or a fast(er) heroic so you can have siege to to make the enemny fall under your tox fire(I choose the latter if facing Loki or eggy)Ĭurious about what others are doing for a core of troops once hitting HEROIC. I am inexperienced with Hades, but I really find that HIPPOkons and lots of them early on are a perfect combo heading into Heroic. I am most successful with Hades when I go heavy on HIPPokons and toxotes, tower or three and then let the flow of the game dictate if I try to get to heroic faster then normal. Cyclops are kewl but they take away too much food. Some people swear by this, but 9 times out of 10 I can beat up on the guy that tries the 'hades fast heroic' with just making toxotes. I usally really only like myth or hard counters with my toxotes, and toxotes don't strain much on your bid for a fast heroic, and since their your best unit - you can go for it. I would guess that Hades is the 3rd most common fast heroic, and he does have the Curse god power, but he ceratinly has his work cut out for him there. ![]() On top of that the other popular fast heroics have Walking woods and Ancestors to keep to compensate for your lowly army. ^^^ I really don't see a choice in the matter of getting an army or not, its really hard to do well and not have an wrmy 10 minutes into the game. P.S when I am in the classical age, i set the tc to have my villagers constantly go to wood, any extra food i get from hunting, i use to build cyclops and elder cyclops. Please tell me how you think this is and give me any suggestions you have that will make me a better player! When I am advancing, I have about 20 villagers, I take 5 villagers of food and put 3 on wood and 2 on gold. With the next 8 villagers I make, I set 5 of them to gather food, 1 to build a temple, and 2 more to gather food. ![]() With the next 4 villagers i make, i set them to all gather gold I make 5 more villagers and i send them all to gather wood. Take them and then I go hunting or o to the nearest food.(if there is hunting, I get hunting dogs) i was jus wondering if any really good player could make modifications to my build order. I usually win with this strategy becuase of my build order. Hi, I consider myself a decent Hades player becuase I go all toxotes and cyclops in my battles.
